Celebrate the flagship of Australia’s most celebrated luxury motor yacht builder with our handcrafted Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition model. Built on the Gold Coast, the 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition is renowned for its sleek European lines, shimmering silver-grey and black colour palette, and effortless blue-water performance — a true modern Australian icon, now faithfully recreated in miniature by our skilled artisans.
Every signature detail of the Platinum Edition has been captured with care: the distinctive Platinum Silver hardtop and targa, the rakish black boot stripe and recessed black hull windows, the wraparound windscreen, and the teak-laid hydraulic swim platform. Look closely beneath the waterline and you’ll find the twin Volvo Penta IPS drive pods with their forward-facing propellers — the advanced propulsion system that makes the real yacht so remarkable. The cockpit entertaining area, radar arrays, stainless-steel railings and Riviera insignia complete this stunning tribute.
Each model is entirely handcrafted from quality timber, hand-painted in the authentic Platinum Edition colour scheme, and mounted on a polished timber display base with solid brass pedestals — ready to take pride of place in your home, office, marina or dealership.
Riviera’s story is one of Australia’s great boatbuilding successes. Founded in Sydney in 1980 by Bill Barry-Cotter with a single model — the rugged 38 MkI — the company relocated to Queensland’s Gold Coast in 1981, building just eight yachts in its first full year. Today, from the Southern Hemisphere’s largest luxury yacht facility at Coomera, Riviera has launched more than 6,000 motor yachts, now cruising the waters of over 60 countries. Every hull is still tested in the demanding seas off the Australian coast — a heritage of blue-water toughness wrapped in world-class luxury.
The Sport Yacht series arrived in 2005 and quickly became one of Riviera’s most loved collections, with more than 800 built. In 2019 came the Platinum Edition — a new pinnacle of elegance distinguished by its shimmering Platinum Silver hardtop, black hull glazing and refined interior appointments. As the flagship of the range, the 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition measures 19.3 metres (63’4″) and is powered by twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950 turbo diesels of 725hp each, delivering a top speed of around 30 knots with joystick precision at the helm. Grandly spacious yet effortlessly capable, she represents modern Australian yacht building at its finest — an icon worthy of a place in any collection.
