The HMAS Toowoomba (FFH 156) is an ANZAC-class frigate of the Royal Australian Navy, named after the inland city of Toowoomba in Queensland. Constructed by Tenix Defence Systems, she was launched in May 2003 and commissioned into the Royal Australian Navy on October 8, 2005. Toowoomba is the seventh of eight ANZAC-class frigates, built as part of a collaborative effort between Australia and New Zealand to bolster naval defense capabilities.

Designed for versatility and equipped with advanced warfare systems, Toowoomba’s primary missions include anti-surface, anti-submarine, and air defense operations. She has been actively involved in international security and peacekeeping efforts, particularly in the Indo-Pacific and Middle Eastern regions.
